One of the first flights to be taken by Eagle's fleet of ex-BEA Vikings took place on April 6th. A party of 27 seamen were flown from Istanbul to Jaelesberg. They were taking over the 9,350 ton motor tanker 'Hoegh Hood' which has been sold by her Norwegian owners to a Turkish line.
Eagle flew a group of 32 factory employees from Birmingham to Paris on March 27th and brought them home two days later.
One of the companies Dakotas has been chartered to fly a party of US Servicemen on a tour of the Middle East.
